The first time I sky dived they almost had to push me out of the plane. Cave exploration was my most enjoyable activity. I have been on a hot air balloon team, climbed Kilimanjaro and a few other adventures. π
You're a braver person than I am, Kay.... skydiving and cave diving... wow. - As for trying to help out other people and wanting them to be successful, I once had to delete my email list and start again because the people I wanted to help didn't want their success as much as I wanted it for them. I found that very frustrating, and I so wanted to give them a digital kick in the pants. π But you live and learn.
Oh Barry thank you. Skydiving and cave diving are only the tip of the ice of the iceberg. I love the βdigital kick in the pants.β You know you try to teach a man how to fishβ¦ yes we live and learn
I always love reading about how women shed skins and evolve to the next thing. In a similar vein, I shifted from academic to creative writing later in life. Actually, I'd always been a creative writer but had essentially give it up. Going back to (and forward to) it to write novels and memoirs opened up my life in beautiful ways. Happy to be connected here!
Happy to connect Kate. I taught for a semester at Temple U. I look forward to reading your work. I have shed my skin so many times, I think my spirit animal is a snake. To be honest, I get excited when I blow up my life.
Really enjoyed your story, Kay. Brava to you. Thanks for sharing.
Priyanka thank you for taking the time to read it. I hope you subscribe as I take you on my journey. π
appreciate your honesty and reflection, itβs been quite the journey
Quite the journey that continues, thank you for the support and stay tuned!
If itβs okay with you Iβd like to use βIβd rather be needed than paidβ as a title for a short story?
Great thanks β¦ Iβll work on something over the next few days β¦ no pressure at all π€

I skydived once. The most terrifying thing I ever did! Do you share stories about cave diving? Iβd love to read!

I think selling soap in the south of France is always a good idea for a Tabula rasa
